So when they arrived, they came in three separate pieces. The black outer rim, the purple insert, and the little circular middle purple piece. Putting them together was pretty simple. It was like Legos. But there were a few pieces/tabs that kept bending down though so it made it take longer than I expected to snap everything together. After that, I just had to carefully insert the things into my wheel to get them in place. Since they are plastic you have to be careful that you don't break them, but you do need to kinda shimmy and bend them a teensy bit so that they go in, rather than smacking them in like you would with a typical metal hubcap. Be CAREFUL that you dont pinch your fingers.As for appearance, I think they look great. A little cheap and tacky, but that's the point. My car is older and dumpy with faded paint that definitely doesn't match my purple interior theme and the hubcaps, but I love that they stand out lol. For the color, the purple is more towards a shade of hot pink in my opinion, but I literally could NOT find purple hubcaps anywhere so you get what you get. Hopefully no one steals them lol
